The UK League is here!

The IGR League is a program within the IGR network dedicated to fostering inclusive rugby across the United Kingdom. The UK League consisted of LGBTQ+ and inclusive rugby teams from various cities and regions within the UK.

The IGR UK League aimed to promote diversity, inclusivity, and camaraderie within the rugby community in the UK. It provided a platform for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to participate in rugby in a safe and welcoming environment.

The league organized matches, tournaments, and events, offering opportunities for teams to compete, develop skills, and build connections within the LGBTQ+ rugby community.

Similar to other IGR-affiliated leagues and tournaments around the world, the UK League emphasized the values of respect, acceptance, and sportsmanship while celebrating the spirit of rugby. It encouraged individuals of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities to come together through their shared love for the sport.

IGR, including the UK League, played a crucial role in advocating for inclusivity in sports and breaking down barriers for LGBTQ+ individuals within the rugby community within the United Kingdom.

It provided a supportive and empowering space for people to engage in rugby, regardless of their background or identity. For the most current information about the IGR UK League or any recent developments, it’s recommended to check the latest updates at www.inclusiverugby.com
