Les Cannelions are Nouvelle-Aquitaine’s first LGBTQIA+ inclusive rugby club, founded in January 2024 and based in Begles at the heart of Bordeaux rugby. They train at Union Bordeaux Begles’ Stade Andre Moga and field both a 15s contact side and a touch side, both affiliated to the French Rugby Federation. The club lets LGBTQIA+, cisgender and heterosexual players enjoy rugby together free from discrimination, and in 2025 their contact team took silver at the EuroGames in Lyon.
