Colorado Rush RFC

The mission of Colorado Rush Rugby is to provide an opportunity for men in the Greater Denver LGBT Community and their straight allies to play rugby on a competitive level. Through practices, socials, matches, fitness programs, fundraising, and recruitment events, the Rush strives to promote awareness and respect for gay men in contact sports, as well as to strengthen and promote positive self-image and community building.

Moreover, the Rush recognizes the historical and systematic oppression of gay men, people of color, and queer people. By providing an inclusive and affirming space for the individual growth of its members, the Colorado Rush Rugby Football Club hopes to perpetually dismantle oppression and negative stereotypes in competitive rugby.

The Colorado Rush Rugby Football Club was formed in 2010 to provide a club where amateur athletes in the Greater Denver area can participate competitively in the classic game of rugby in an inclusive, multicultural environment.

CO Rush Rugby is the Rocky Mountain Region’s only International Gay Rugby (IGR) member team.

Colorado Rush RFC is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
