Why the 2028 Bingham Cup matters
The 2028 Bingham Cup is far more than a tournament. It is a celebration of unity, diversity and the game everyone loves, breaking down barriers and creating family across borders. Rugby’s global governing body, World Rugby, recognises International Gay Rugby as the representative organisation for LGBTQ+ rugby.
What happens next
The winning bid will be announced in Brisbane during the 2026 Bingham Cup and Amanda Mark Cup, hosted by the Brisbane Hustlers from 19 to 23 August 2026. Until then, the global community can rally behind their favourite host city.
